GOLD NUGGET PROSPECTING METAL DETECTOR

Like the original Gold Bug, the Gold Bug 2 is designed for finding gold nuggets. It offers extreme sensitivity, ultra-high frequency (the highest operating frequency on the market), iron discrimination, dust and moisture shielding, audio boost, and a three-position mineralization switch for efficient operation even in highly mineralized soils. CONTROLS

• THRESHOLD: Small shaft at the back of the control box. Adjusts the threshold tone.

• MODE: Three-position switch:

1. IRON DISC. Mode for rejecting iron and trash.

2. Normal Mode for standard all-metal operation.

3. Audio Boost Mode for hearing faint, deep targets.

• BATTERY TEST/SENSITIVITY: Dual-function potentiometer with switch for audio battery test – Adjusts sensitivity for targets, electrical interference, and ground minerals.

• GROUND REJECT: Dual-knob electronic control to adjust for ground mineral rejection. Small single-turn coarse adjustment knob and large 16-turn fine adjustment knob.

• VOLUME: Turns the device on and adjusts signal response volume.

• HEADPHONES: 1/4" jack for most mono and stereo headphones.
