Definition:
Proton V32 Series is a magnetic scanning device that visualizes data from magnetic sensor arrays in real time. It gets its full name based on the number of sensors.
Proton V8 houses eight sensors.

Gaussmeter:
It reflects the magnetic field intensity of the environment it is in numerically and audibly to the user. If there is an anomaly in the environment that can change the intensity of the magnetic field, it is alerted to the user visually and audibly.
Live Shooting:
In this mode, the data is transferred to the computer in real time. The more sensors there are on the device, the more resolution a graph flows from top to bottom. Since this represents walking, the user must walk constantly in this mode. When walking, a magnetic image of the floor in real time will be generated on the computer screen.
Ultrasound Shooting:
The system of working with live shooting is the same. In this mode, since the sensors are placed vertically, a vertical magnetic image is obtained on the sensor axis.
Automatic Memory-Free Shooting:
It is the section that is automatically shot together with the computer. When entering this menu, the number of steps to be taken in the forward direction is entered into the device. After that, each time the joystick button is pressed, the deviceautomatically starts taking samples up to the nearest multiple of the number of steps entered. Every sample it receives instantly gives an audible warning. The user steps forward synchronously with this warning sound. The user can stop shooting at any time by pressing the joystick button at any time, start it again. As soon as the number of steps is doubled, the shooting will stop automatically and the user will be notified by voice that the scan in that direction is over. After that, the user must set the direction again and press the joystick button to start the scan again. No memory is used in this shooting mode. The data is transmitted live to the computer. This mode will not work without a computer connection.
Manual Memory-Free Shooting:
The difference from the Automatic Memory-Free Shooting mode is that a joystick button is pressed at each step. In order to obtain a homogeneous image, especially on rough terrain, it is recommended to use this mode.
After entering the number of forward steps, shooting is now done by pressing the joystick button on each step. Memory is also not used in this shooting mode. The data is transmitted live to the computer. This mode will not work without a computer connection.
Automatic Memory Shooting and Manual” Memory " Shooting
The logic of working with the two previous memory-free shots is the same. The difference is that these two modes work without a computer. It is especially convenient to use it in areas where it is problematic to carry a computer. The shots taken in these modes are recorded in the previously selected memory of the device. Even if the device is turned off, this data is not deleted from the device's memory. After the shooting process is completed, the data can be sent to the computer at any time. The device has 3 memory cards. In which memory the shot will be saved, this memory should be selected. If a shot has already been taken, the recording is made from where it left off without deleting the memory. For this reason, it should be made sure that the memory is empty before shooting.
Sending the saved memory: (Send Memory)
It is used for the purpose of transferring memorized data to a computer. The memory to be sent is first selected, and then sent to the computer. At this time, the device will check if it is connected to the computer, and if there is no connection, it will wait for the connection to be established until the connection is established.
Deleting the Saved Memory: (Clear Memory)
It is used for the purpose of deleting stored data. The memory that you want to delete is selected first, and then deleted. This is an irreversible process. For this reason, it is necessary to pay attention.
Battery Status Display (BATTERY)
It shows the battery status of the device on its display in volts. It should not be lowered below 11V.
